Saudi Arabia has announced plans for the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition, scheduled to take place in Jeddah from November 8 to 11, 2026, as preparations gather pace for the 2027 pilgrimage season.
The four-day event will bring together Hajj affairs offices, service providers, government agencies and other stakeholders to discuss operational arrangements and explore ways to improve services for pilgrims.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the conference will feature more than 15 specialised zones and programmes designed to support early preparations for the 1448 AH Hajj season.
The event will focus on three major areas: infrastructure and operational services, empowerment and integration, and development and sustainability.
The infrastructure track will address transportation, logistics, facilities management, accommodation, hospitality and catering, while the empowerment and integration segment will cover security, safety, healthcare, media, communication, technology and innovation.
The development and sustainability track will examine entrepreneurship, training, professional development, the nonprofit sector and initiatives aimed at improving the overall pilgrimage experience.
Several specialised exhibition areas will also showcase innovations and services relevant to Hajj operations.
These include a health zone for healthcare providers and government agencies, a technology zone highlighting digital solutions, and an aviation zone bringing together regulatory authorities, airlines and service providers involved in pilgrims’ transportation and arrival.
A dedicated media zone will provide opportunities for media organisations and communication agencies to present initiatives and practices focused on serving pilgrims.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which is organising the conference in collaboration with the Pilgrim Experience Programme under Saudi Vision 2030, has invited interested organisations, specialists and other stakeholders to participate.
The event is expected to provide a platform for exchanging expertise, developing partnerships and showcasing solutions to challenges associated with managing the annual pilgrimage.
The accompanying exhibition will also facilitate discussions and coordination among organisations involved in accommodation, transportation, healthcare, technology and other essential Hajj services.
The conference forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to strengthen operational readiness and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims ahead of the 2027 Hajj season.
